SUMMARY:
As an Accounting professional at Cacique Foods, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of one of the leading Hispanic food brands in the U.S. Your primary responsibility will be managing the accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, purchase orders, and payments to our valued vendors and suppliers.
In this role, you will utilize your expertise in accounting to handle 3-way matching, general ledger coding, and reconciliation tasks. You’ll also be responsible for managing vendor communications, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining smooth financial operations within our fast-paced, dynamic environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proficient in Excel.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a highly motivated individual.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Analyze, prioritize, and process invoices and purchase orders, including 3-way matching and consistent coding of invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts.
- Manage incoming vendor invoice submissions and monitor invoice approval and processing workflow.
- Make payments to vendors, suppliers, and for miscellaneous expenses.
- Respond to vendor inquiries, researching and resolving questions as needed.
- Reconcile ERP AP balances with vendor statements and proactively resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor and resolve outstanding AP debit balances in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5 to 7+ years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
