General Description: 
Process invoices, correspond with vendors, reconcile AP, keep accurate records, and assist others in the company with various administrative duties and projects as needed.
Responsibilities: 
These requirements/functions may change over the course of
employment.
Responsible for Accounts Payable:
  • Bill entry and review through bill.com, payment process management,and credit management
  • Communicate with vendors to ensure charges are accurate andpayments are made/received in a timely manner
  • Keep records of vendors who invoice monthly and ensure all invoices are recorded.
  • Monitor vendor payment agreements to find discounts that can be used to reduce invoice amounts
  • Keep track of credits owed to the company and ensure all credits are properly applied to vendor payments
  • Reconcile payable reports each month to confirm all amounts paid were accurate
  • Ensure expenses are allocated appropriately across the various company locations
  • Continue to improve the payment process
  • Maintain accurate and complete records, including ledgers, journals, invoices,receipts and information related to supplies and inventory
  • Assist the Controller on various tasks, including but not limited to; license renewals and account reconciliations.
  • Scan documents and save electronically to appropriate network locations
  • Upload data into accounting software using import files.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of related accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Sage Intacct experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills utilizing Outlook, Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Defines problems, collects data, establishes facts and draws valid conclusions.
  • Demonstrates a high level of customer service.
  • Develops and maintains effective working relationships.
  • Communicates effectively, in both written and oral format, with all internal and external customers/vendors.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot issues that arise.
