About the role

BoomPop is expanding to support our growth by adding a high-performing Accounts Receivable Manager to the team! Reporting to our Senior Manager of Accounting, you will lead and develop all aspects of invoicing and collections to ensure healthy cash flow. This role will require strong communication and organizational skills to ensure an excellent customer lifecycle experience. This could be the ideal position for you if you are a detail-oriented, analytical thinker with high standards and a talent for all things billing. As the Accounts Receivable Manager at BoomPop, you will play a critical role in supporting our growth by managing high volumes of new sales, ensuring accurate invoicing, and maintaining healthy cash flow through effective collections practices.

What you’ll do

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of BoomPop’s products, services, contracts, and invoicing requirements
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the accounts receivable processes, systems, and controls, and ensure alignment with the company’s goals and objectives
• Own and maintain the AR mailbox, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
• Ensure timely collections through the management of investigating, analyzing, escalating, and resolving invoice payments ultimately leading to a reduction in days sales outstanding
• Lead the maintenance and reconciliation of accounts receivable ledger, financial statements, and reports on a monthly basis
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to facilitate prompt payment
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to billing and payments

Qualifications

• Advanced MS Excel skills and experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong knowledge of and experience with US GAAP and accounting operations
• Experience in a technology or high-growth company operating in a SOX environment
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent field
• NetSuite Experience

Occasional Travel: Connecting is in our DNA, please note that we anticipate roughly 3-4 nights of travel per quarter for this role.

Total Compensation Package; Including Benefits and Stock:

• Base: $87,000 – $115,000 a year; Depending on Experience and Qualifications
• Medical, vision, dental, life: $10,000 – $16,000 a year; Depending on Individual or Family Plan
• Equity: Our vision is to take BoomPop to the moon; Total Estimated Value for this Role is $50,000+
