The anticipated salary range for this role is between $75,000.00 and $115,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. SUMMARY:

Reporting to the VP, Collections Operations, this position will support the operational needs of the Banks credit card collection’s function, to include controls execution and daily oversight of the outsourced Collections Agents. The ideal candidate is in, or has been in, the Loan Servicing, or Default Management space, with a lean toward unsecured revolving debt.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administers timely delivery of KPI and KRI’s for the team.
  • Assists VPs with developing and maintaining Risk Control Self-Assessments.
  • Executes all controls to mitigate risks and ensures compliance.
  • Facilitates regular meetings with lines of business to remediate control failures and/or establish action plans.
  • Ensures audit readiness.
  • Develops and maintains all procedures and user guides for the supported functions.
  • Becomes a Subject Matter Expert for the assigned functions.
  • Monitors SLA’s adherence.
  • Works Bank Operations support and escalation tickets.
  • Daily oversight of the Collections vendor.
  • Administration of the vendor management program deliverables.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

  • College Degree required.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in Loss Mitigation, Default Management, Collections, or Recoveries for Credit Cards/Lending Products.
  • Working knowledge of banking documentation, bank core systems, collections core systems, operations, and accounting.
  • Proficiency in the technical writing of formal Business Requirements, Policies/Procedures, IT User Test Cases.
  • Superb organizational skills and meticulous.
  • Highly proficient PC skills including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be comfortable and effective at presenting to senior leadership.
  • Must be able to plan and monitor activities according to priorities and multi-task.
  • Ability to work independently within the scope of responsibilities for the position and complete assignments in a timely manner.
  • Familiarity with applicable Federal and State-specific regulatory compliance laws regarding debt collection.
  • Ability to provide coaching feedback, as necessary, to third party vendors.
