Our physicians, nurses, and patient support staff will listen and work directly with patients to find the right path to parenthood.
- Prepare monthly journal entries including fixed assets, prepaid expenses, lease accounting and accrued expenses to ensure complete and accurate financial statements at the practice level.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis, manage and record reconciling items as needed.
- Record payroll journal entries, including payroll accruals and compare salary analysis breakdown by employee to budget.
- Calculate and record bonus payments and accruals for all physicians and other employees as needed.
- Prepare monthly financial reports for center leaders including budget to actual financial analysis and other performance measures.
- Assist with budget and forecast process to ensure it is in line with anticipated spend.
- Assist with producing schedules and reconciliations for annual audit and tax return preparation.
- Calculate and pay sales and use tax for all entities on a monthly or quarterly basis
- Communicate and collaborate with center leaders and management team on practice performance as it relates to monthly financial results.
- Maintain and respect the confidentiality of financial and patient information in accordance with HIPPA and corporate policy and procedures
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- BS Degree in Finance-related discipline
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- Healthcare accounting experience preferred
- NetSuite experience preferred
Skills:
- Strong experience in general ledger accounting
- Customer Service Orientation
- General knowledge of healthcare and private equity
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accrual accounting practices and principles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in tight timeframes and to distill complex concepts into simplest components
