Position Summary:

As a Senior Accountant, you will be a key member of our accounting & finance team. The Senior Accountant will need to be motivated, hands-on, and willing to work on a range of tactical and technical projects to ensure success of the finance team. This individual will need to be a trailblazer, working to enhance and improve accounting, financial, and reporting processes. This individual will also be a business partner and leader within the organization and will be required to have strong, senior-level knowledge and experience in a growing accounting and financial organization, with SaaS experience preferred.

Deliverables and Performance Measures:

• Execution of timely and accurate monthly and annual financial close assignments including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Thorough understanding and adherence to US GAAP rules and policy analysis
• Assist with the review, verification, and entry of customer invoices into the financial system
• Point of contact for client collections
• Review and track open accounts for collections efforts
• Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates
• Identify issues attributed to account delinquency and discuss them with management
• Communicating with clients through outbound collection calls and email communication in a professional manner
• Collaborate with the Controller and CFO to help drive continuous process and system improvements, striving for efficiency, accuracy, compliance, and completeness
• Collaborative and strong organizational engagement with both internal and external relationships
• Special projects and ad-hoc reporting and analysis, as required

What will make you successful:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, MBA and/or CPA a plus
• 3-5 years’ progressive accounting experience, Public Accounting preferred
• Advanced working knowledge of US GAAP, knowledge of ASC606 a plus
• 3-5 years of experience with NetSuite a plus
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including an ability to efficiently solve complex problems
• Successful track record in fast paced, high growth environments

Expected hours of Work:
