Our Team…

Our Finance team plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, optimal financial management, efficient operations, and compliance across Imagen.  The team consists of Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis. The Finance team partners across all organizations in Imagen to appropriately allocate resources, inform key business decisions, and facilitate the execution of our operational plans.

You have excellent communication, organizational, time management and analytical skills. You have a positive, “can do” attitude, who is ready to jump in and make things happen. You excel in a fast-paced environment and exceed goals. When something isn’t working, you shift gears quickly, and come up with a new approach and renewed energy to tackle any challenge. You have a strong inclination of building standard, simple and fully automated processes.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the monthly AR close process including reconciliation of the AR sub-ledger to the General Ledger and related accounts.
  • Analyze, understand, and record costs of goods sold.
  • Research and accounting for Leases under ASC 842.
  • Responsible for preparation of General Ledger entries and assigned reconciliations for month-end to close the books in a timely manner.
  • Research and resolve invoice/payment discrepancies.
  • Analyze financial statements monthly and report on variances.
  • Perform research on accounting issues as needed.
  • Assist in annual and interim audit preparation.
  • Create process improvements and streamline processes.
  • Work with developers and tech teams to participate in projects for the entire cycle – from initiation to production go-live.
  • Ad hoc reporting and special projects, as requested

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in accounting or related field
  • 4+ years accounting experience
  • Auditing skills, with the ability to research and reconcile difficult accounts
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers
  • Ability to partner with cross-functional teams on production work, initiatives, projects, and testing
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize projects to meet established deadlines.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to query, analyze, and reconcile large volumes of data
  • Ability to display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments efficiently.
  • Attention to details while still seeing the big picture
  • A sense of humor, a curious mind, an eagerness to learn, and a positive attitude
