Responsibilities

• Responsible for accounts payable (e.g., invoice data entry and GL coding and vendor payments)
• Responsible for reconciling and recording employee expense reports
• Responsible for journal entries and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
• Strategically collect accounts receivable in a timely manner
• Assist with the month-end closing process
• Assist with financial analyses and reports
• Manage organizational logistics as requested: may include travel/accommodation agendas, meeting communications, planning/tracking programs to a budget, etc.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned from time to time by your supervisor.

REQUIRED Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required (CPA is a plus)
• New graduates will be considered but 3+ years of accounting experience is a plus
• Public accounting and/or software business experience is a plus
• Must be a resourceful self-starter with the ability to work independently and a can-do attitude
• Ability to effectively prioritize, project manage and multi-task in a fast-paced, cross-functional organization (start-up experience a plus)
• Fluency in English with good written and oral communication skills
• Must be able to collaborate effectively with all levels of management and staff in a geographically dispersed environment
• Good judgment, professionalism, and a high degree of integrity, particularly when working with sensitive, confidential information
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
• Competency in the Microsoft Office suite of software (Word, Excel, PPT, etc.)
• Experience with accounting system; QuickBooks preferred

$65K to $75K annual base salary plus 10% annual bonus based on company and individual performance
