Organization Overview:
Radiology Imaging Associates (RIA) is comprised of over 100 radiologists. All with exceptional skill and expertise, most are fellowship-trained in their field of specialty for additional certification. We are dedicated to accurate and efficient patient diagnosis no matter their condition. Our interventional radiologists perform some of the most leading-edge treatments available today. We partner with primary care physicians and hospitals across Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, and Hawaii to provide a resource for both patients and physicians.
Position Summary:
This is an entry level position responsible for introductory level accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash receipting that will be closely supervised by Staff Accountant 2, Senior Accountant and/or Controller. This position will report to the Controller.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Desktop Deposit
- Unclaimed property prep
- Business License renewals
- Research stale date checks
- Communicate with customers and vendors via phone, email, main, or in person as appropriate
- Processes expense reports for physicians and employees through the expense reimbursement platform
- Maintain up-to-date billing system for customer files and records
- Generate and send invoices to customers
- Follow up on, collect and allocate payments
- Carry out billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
- Monitor customer account details for non-payment, delayed payment, and other irregularities
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies
- Generate aging analysis
- Investigate and resolve customer and vendor queries
- Process adjustments
- Prepare and coordinate 1099 filing
- Assist in tracking budget to actual for IT and construction projects
- Assist in tracking and monitoring all company lease
- Enter vendor invoices
- Process vendor payments on a weekly basis
- Close journal entries
Requirements:
- 1-2 years accounting experience
- Proficient 10-key skills
- Strong computer skills including Excel
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Detail oriented and well organized
- Ability to take initiative
- Ability to work independently and to collaborate in a group

Base salary is between $60,000 and 70,000 annually.
In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is Radiology Imaging Associate’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. This position will receive applications on an ongoing basis, and will remain open until filled.
